Location

Loud people late at night. Kids running in the hallways after 10PM. People loudly talking late and early with no regard for others. Shower did not have a curtain nor a door, so the water went everywhere. Sink was partially clogged. Management overlooked my concerns to move due to the loudness of others, saying the entire hotel was booked (crowded, yes, but judging by the low turn out at breakfast… he lied). And most importantly, the coffee tasted like bathwater with Great Value instant mixed in it! Oh, and The bed left my back sore.

Overall we were very happy with the hotel. There was a slight issue with checking in that had to do with the third party company we booked the room through, but the front desk handled it perfectly. It was clean and the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also quite delicious.

I booked a room at Hampton- paid for Hampton, but Hampton said expedia had booked us to Wyndham- and this had been an ongoing issue- so we ended up paying more for a hotel that had worse reviews- a total bait and switch- really upset with Expedia

"Sent to occupied room then told no reservation?!"

We arrived at the hotel and “checked-in” and got the keys to our room. Once we got to the room, it was already occupied. Back at the front desk, they said we didn’t have a reservation at the hotel, we booked it through Hotels.com and had the itinerary number. The hotel “couldn’t find it” so we had to pay again at the hotel to get another room. All this happening after midnight, with my children already confused and upset after walking in on a couple in the first room. “Dad, what were they doing naked?” Great question, thank you Hampton Inn for this memory from my son and rest of the family.

I'm writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had using your platform, and to request a full refund of \$130 for a reservation that was not honored properly. I had booked a stay at the Hampton Inn in Fishkill, NY through Expedia. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I was informed by the front desk staff that there was no reservation under my name at their location. The staff member was very polite and helpful, and explained that this has been happening frequently to other customers as well who used Expedia, where bookings meant for another hotel (in this case, the Wingate Hotel down the road) were being incorrectly routed or confirmed as if for the Hampton Inn. This error caused not only confusion but also inconvenience during my travel. I immediately called Expedia customer service to resolve the issue and request a cancellation and refund. Unfortunately, I was placed on hold multiple times, and though I was told someone would contact the hotel directly to help cancel the reservation and issue a refund, this never happened. Instead, I was left in limbo—placed on hold again, with no confirmation or resolution. Despite trying to resolve this in good faith through your customer service line, I was charged \$130 for a booking that was not valid, not honored, and was the result of incorrect listing or processing on your platform. This is unacceptable and unfair to your customers i would like a refund please, thanks
