Room was pleasant. Bathroom tub/shower needed new finish. Door was very squeaky when opened. Stayed in 2nd floor. The room above us pacing the floor with loud thuds. Very obvious and disruptive to our sleep. Not the fault of the hotel..have some respect guests.

For the price of the room. There shouldn't have peeling paint,rusted and dirty tub,crack tiles, dirty coffee supplies.

"Rude and Crude"

During the rebuilding of our condo in Florida after the hurricanes we spent 3 separate weeks at the Hampton in Dunedin FL. Fabulous hotel and wonderful staff. Our night in Shelbyville IN was the complete opposite………in short nothing was very good! When checking in there was nobody at the counter…..after saying “hello”numerous times the woman came out and said”whad’ya want…we’re busy here “! When we finally got to our room the temperature was registering 56* on thermostat and it wouldn’t allow us to change temp or mode. We went back to the front desk to request a new room at which point we were told “too bad no rooms available but I’ll go to your room to see. Finally got the heat working by using the register unit’s controls. Was offered an extra blanket to keep us warm. The wall had a hole punched in it that was covered over with globs of spackle. Summation is this hotel needs a lot of updating both physically and attitude wise…..will never go back

Friendly staff, quiet, great options for breakfast. Later check out option (noon) pool open until 11 pm didn’t have time to use but liked the option.. close to the casino about 4 miles. Would definitely recommend.. happy safe travels
