Hampton Inn Houma

So I got stuck in the elevator. It was the longest 28 minutes of my life. I am very c claustrophobia , and by the time they got the doors open I was on the floor trying to keep calm, but was having a very hard time breathing, I was sick most of the night from the stress and anxiety. Without even so much as I’m sorry from the management and or the staff on duty. Not even an offer for a further stay, on them. I mean absolutely nothing, like it was no big deal to them at all. The next morning at breakfast I could hear them talking about it, but still no apology from them.

The front desk clerk was horrible. She checked us in and out. They were obviously having computer problems or maybe she was just incapable but no apologies or sorry this is taking so long….RUDE

The front desk attendant was very rude and so u helpful.

Stay 08/18/23-08/20/23 unfortunately for a death in our family. We had family coming from La, Ky, In, Tx, New York and France! Our reservation was made by phone and the person was very nice to place us all on 3rd floor & close together. We reserved a king room but upon check in we were put in a double; not a huge deal. Then we discovered our room was mixed up with a cousin (SAME last name). He has a military discount & the NICE lady at check- in gave the discount to both of us!! Never needed room service as there were PLENTY of bathroom linens upon check-in. Decent pressure shower head & nice toiletries. The lobby area was very nice for all of us to gather. Upon check out the to go fast fuel sacks were very handy & thoughtful for our trips home. Only minor complaint we had a couple tiny Lizards on the floor. Probably just need a pest maintenance.

Nothing worked! No TV, no elevator, no hot water and the staff was no help, as a matter of fact, they were rude. They said that they got hit by lightning and knocked everything out, well there was not any lightning! No bad weather within 100 miles. This hotel is a joke

Nice hotel with wonderful staff. The breakfast was fantastic, and the fitness center was very nice. My daughter accidentally left her contacts when we checked out, and they had them saved for us when we returned to look for them.

the water was lukewarm and the ac didn’t get cold enough for us
