Bayside Hotel of Mackinac

Convenience for the ferry right across the street to go to machinac Island.

Room smelled like wet dog, TV didnt work till day after arrival. Took mentioning 2 times that TV wasn't working for them to come show us were the sensor for the remote was. Was told no breakfast but would be coffee or tea but they never arrived to front desk till roughly 11am. They have the room and tables to offer a breakfast but dont.coupon they offer for breakfast is for 2 places that food is horrible. Was supposed to be upgraded to lake view however they dont have lake view rooms as there is another hotel across the street in sight and rooms are on side of hotel not even facing the lake.

I wasted money and was lied to about a “lake view.” This hotel is NOT on the lake. When I opened the window curtain, we were looking at another hotel, and behind that, was the lake. I would have never booked here knowing this, nor would I of paid extra for the “lake view.” I don’t know why there are multiple pictures of this hotel on the lake, it is NOT. Our bathroom had mold all on the floor, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was broke, and they used cheap Amazon strip lights in the room. We checked in late and had to walk to another hotel to do so. The only positive is that we were able to park at the hotel and walk across the street to the ferry.

Booked a room but when arrived they didn’t have a room available. Sent is to the adjoining hotel which was a terrible experience

Bad check in, Gave us a room that was not turned over Waited for host to help us had to go find her in a different building Over all worst stay

The room was very clean. The carpet was like new.

It was very loud

The waterpark was the best part for the kids! Easy access to everything around! Great hotel, clean, definitely recommend & will be back!

Good location with good walking opportunities.

The hotel needs updating. There was inadequate tech connectivity in the rooms. The carpeting was old & a bit dingy.
