Bayside Hotel of Mackinac

The front desk staffs are very nice, they are professional and friendly. And the facilities are great! But it’s a little bit noisy.

There was no hot water. I asked for a partial refund and I was told that it “should be working”

Clean, nice staff, great pool area!

The beds and pillows were not very comfortable, toilet clogged easily.

We Had problems with our first room with a few things but they were very nice to help us get another room with no issues

I would not recommend Bayside Hotel in Mackinaw City. The property is advertised as “renovated,” but in reality, it only looks like they put in new beds and added a coat of paint. Beyond that, there are cracks everywhere, and the building has a very run-down feel. The room also smelled strongly of smoke, which was very unpleasant. The owners operate several hotels in Mackinaw City, and unfortunately, it seems they all suffer from the same lack of upkeep. This place is no exception—it feels neglected and poorly managed. Overall, I would not stay here again. There are plenty of better options in the area for the same or even less money.
