"Spotless Hampton Inn"

This is one of the cleanest Hampton Inns I’ve ever stayed in. The front desk staff are very polite and professional. The hotel is close enough to highway 26 for quick access but not so close that you hear traffic. It is only a few minutes drive to downtown Kingsport and Eastman Chemical. About 15min to BAE/Holston Army Plant.

The staff member on duty seemed a little bothered by my arrival. He wasn't rude, just a little short. When I told him that I was having hip surgery the next morning at 5 am, he didn't offer a room on a lower floor, or any kind of discount; we were put on the fourth floor.The amount paid for the accommodations, and service seemed a little high. Honestly thought there might have been a little more empathy?
