Hampton Inn Las Vegas/Summerlin

Very clean and spacious. My only complaint is the lighting needs to be better. Even with all lights on it was super dark in our room.

Easy freeway access, close to shopping. Quiet. Included breakfast was great. Friendly staff.

We had to wait a little while as our room wasn’t ready when we arrived around 5:30.

The hotel was in an area that was easy to access, clean and close to some basic shopping like target. Maybe only complaint was the car noise as our room was facing the busy roadway.

Within two hours of checking in, we realized the refrigerator wasn’t working and it leaked all over the rug and we were traveling and we’re going to have a 12 Hour drive the following day and had wanted to be able to put our drinks and ice packs for our cooler in their freezer and refrigerator. And it wasn’t working and then when we went to log into Netflix to watch a show and the Netflix froze and we couldn’t access it to watch anything. And so when I tried to call downstairs, the phone was busy so then I went downstairs to the front desk and was told that their maintenance man was gone for the day and wouldn’t be in until the morning and there was no manager on site and they wouldn’t be in until Monday. And that they were booked solid so couldn’t switch our room to give us a room with a working refrigerator and tv so we had to just deal with it but she would make a note and have the manager get in touch with me on Monday. Well, I also emailed and left a message to the manager myself so the time would be documented at how soon after our arrival the problems happened And nobody called me. I just called today and was told that when they checked the refrigerator was working fine and they can’t prove the Netflix really froze and that they wouldn’t do anything about it so couldn’t give me any kind of a refund towards the room for our inconvenience. And so I’m very upset and feel like they have a good racket going on by not having manager or maintenance or any extra staff available and only having one person at the front desk so they couldn’t send anybody up with me to see for themselves right then and there that I was telling the truth about the issues. They now are using plausible deniability and saying well unfortunately we didn’t see it for ourselves at that time and we checked the carpet was dry and in our experience, the carpet would’ve been wet for days so on our end, we don’t think that really happened.

Super comfy clean room. Close to shopping, restarants and the strip.

No complaints.
