La Serenissima Hotel

Great hotel, in the city center, everything refurbished, perfect insulation.

The hotel is nice and clean and the staff and service are excellent. However, the surrounding streets contain loud bars and loud music until 4am on most nights and louder on Fridays and Saturday nights. It’s location is ideal if you want to be near restaurants and shopping district. Not recommended for families especially with young children or soft sleepers lol.

Allesandra was very helpful. She did an exellent job. The location was perfect for restaurants and sites.

Clean, good location, very pleasant and English speaking staff. Ceiling unit air conditioning certainly helped in the summer months. My only wish would be for better quality thicker towels and bedding.

I recommend this hotel with my whole heart. Staff delightful, breakfast excellent with homemade cakes and pastries, clean well-kept rooms. Close to the heart of the city but also near the sea. Really nice hotel. I will be returning asap.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this new hotel. My room was large, well equipped (including a kettle) and the bed comfortable. It had two balconies with a view of the street below and a glimpse of the marina. The walk in shower was powerful and easy to control. The wifi was fast and easy to use but I did not use the air conditioning. Housekeeping was of a high standard. Breakfast (included in the price) was simple, of high quality, presentation and service excellent. It is located a few minutes walk from Via Roma and Via Vittorio Emanuele in the old town. The area is rather run down but this was not a concern. The airport shuttle stops at Via Roma and was convenient. Above all I was impressed by the excellence of all the people working at the hotel.

The hotel is located in the historic area of Palermo, full of beautiful areas to walk around, markets, little artisan shops, restaurants, and most important historic grounds and monuments. It is clearly a family hotel and everyone gives you the best of services to make you feel welcome. We arrived at an awfully early time of the day and they provide us with the room immediately -as well as breakfast!-Rooms have a little waiting room besides the bedroom itself that helps for more privacy. Balconies look into this charming neighborhood. Breakfast das everyday something special prepared usually with typical foods from Sicily. The only inconvenience is in case you rent a car, you should be aware that to drive and pak in Palermo is a real nightmare.

The staff is amazing! The breakfast offering is made of freshly baked goods and selection of meats and cheeses. Teresa makes her own cannolis and almond biscuits. Alessandra is always smiling and points you to the best places to visit. The rooms are ultra clean and spacious. The shower is a bit small But does not detract from all the other services. Would definitely go back.
