lovedthe meals - able to be delivered to room. Very modern and clean bathroom facilities.

As an older person about 21 stair to climb with a heavy bag.

We both were very happy with the room/bed & facilities, we said we would stay there again

Love this little place.... clean, neat and tidy and within my price range!

There is a tapping noise coming from above in room 3 and 4 not sure if it is a tap or something dripping but that's the only tiny issue

Modern and spacious. Well appointed for a 'pub room'. Great bathroom. The corridors and stairs had great character.

The overall feel was let down by the pub underneath. Whilst the staff were excellent and most customers were fine, there were many obvious regulars who detracted from the classiness of the accommodation. I sat outside to get some fresh air. I must have sat at the 'wrong' table, as a woman who had been drinking heavily sat in a seat right next to me. I was alone on my table and her mates were in the next table. She lit up a 'rolly' and puffed away right next to me. Smoking killed my father at 52, so I have zero tolerance for smokers, so I left and drank somewhere else. I have no doubt that she was telling me that I was on one of 'their' tables!
