Giovanni Rooms Manarola

It is at the top of Manarola and two steep flights of stairs up, so it's going to be a climb from the train station for sure. But the view from the window is definitely worth it, especially when diners are paying so much money for the same view at the restaurant below. The mattress is soft and I enjoyed the nespresso capsules, wine glass and toiletries. The bathroom is really new and clean too. Check-in is smooth and the owner is very responsive and regularly checks if I needed anything.

Noisy neighbours. Thin walls

Easy to reach from Manarola train station via the tunnel (around 300m, not shown on Google Maps). Stefano was really helpful, providing directions and photos to help find the address. The apartment looks just like the pictures, and the view is amazing. The restaurant in front of the building is a great bonus for drinks or dinner. The neighborhood was quite calm during the period of January 1-2.

All was good

Good heating and good shower. Hot water available. The apartment is clean and comfortable.

Kitchen utensils are not complete.

The staff were very responsive, friendly and helpful. The view was stunning. The room was very welcoming and homey and they added little touches of providing coffees with biscuits.

We had access to use a balcony but it didn’t face the view. But we were on a budget. ☺️
