The staff was lovely and very accommodating. The food was great too.

The hotel was run down, there was mold on the walls in the bathroom, pealing paint and the rug was stained.

Beautiful view from our room it snowed while there it was amazing.

The property was very comfortable and homely. We were looking for an authentic Japanese ryokan experience but with a touch of luxury and this was so perfect. The beds were so comfy and the communal areas were incredibly cosy. The onsens were amazing and having 24 hr access to the public plus the ability to book the private was wonderful. This was the perfect way to rest and recharge after Tokyo.

Nothing it was fabulous

It felt like a true piece of Japan. The staff was so friendly. The area was beautiful.

The hot springs tub on the deck was very, very small.

Loved the warm staff, lovely room with private onsen in the balcony sorrounded by trees, as well as the outdoor onsen and the amaizing food. And that they give you a pijama amd socks to wear while there

Getting there from the Hakone train station was more conplicated and took a lot longer than we expected.
