"Dirty, run down Hampton Inn"

The bed was okay and the shower was clean.

This was one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever seen! From the entrance, the lobby, the hall carpeting and elevator, all were filthy!!!

The staff was very friendly and werr able to let us check in earlier than expected arrival time

The pool was closed for maintenance and nothing was listed about that prior to arrival. Also, the room was nice but found some hairs on a towel and in the shower. Also, to no fault of the hotel, but there is a restaurant right beside the hotel that attracts a lot of motorcycles that like to rev the engines up through the night.

"Boo!!! Hilton should be doing better."

Awful. Plastic feeling bedsheets were "tucked" on the tops of the mattress inside out so you're gonna have to make your own bed, which is weird in and of itself for a hotel, even weirder for a Hilton. Beds are super soft, so no support. AC doesn't move any lower than 68° (in MS?!, gross). Phone didn't work even though it was plugged in, and I checked all the connections. Location isn't bad, unless you're on the interstate side, but even then the room seems to be well insulated to sound anyway. The only positive I have found from this hotel is the water pressure, but the water spews from the faucet and the showerhead and the tub doesn't drain. Sigh. All in all, I highly recommend looking elsewhere until Hilton gets its act together.
