Very comfortable and clean accommodation in a great, central location in Alfama.

We had room 2, which is a beautiful apartment that really felt like a home rather than a hotel. Spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable, and it couldn't be any closer to the tram! The neighbourhood is very walkable and everything you could need is within easy reach: supermarket, restaurants, sights, Lisbon!

A quirk with the power in this old building meant our key card didn't work at one point, but staff were quick to help and explain the problem, so it was no bother.

Die Unterkunft ist mitten in der pulsierenden Altstadt gelegen. Unser großes Zimmer und das Bad waren mit dem Wesentlichen ausgestattet. Die Betten zwar schmal, aber mit sauberer, guter und passender Bettwäsche. Eine Klimaanlage, die nicht direkt auf die Betten bläst, war ein Segen. Die Lage in einer schmalen Gasse, direkt neben den Straßenbahnschienen, empfanden wir wegen der guten Schallisolierung nach außen nicht so laut, wie erwartet. Wenn man das Haus verlässt, sollte man jedoch aufpassen, dass man nicht überfahren wird, wenn man durch die Tür direkt auf die Straße tritt. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es ausreichend Geschäfte, Frühstückslokale und Restaurants. Unsere Besichtigungsziele erreichten wir ebenfalls alle zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichem Nahverkehr.

In Ermangelung eines Hotelfrühstücks könnte die Bereitstellung von Geschirr und Besteck in den Zimmern etwas üppiger sein. In einem Zweibettzimmer würde ich eine entsprechende Anzahl von Tellern und Besteck erwarten. Hier nur zwei Tassen, ein Kaffeelöffel und Kaffeetütchen für 2 Tassen Kaffee. Uns wurde beim Einchecken gesagt, dass man sich für 1,80 EUR pro Tasse an der Kaffeemaschine im Foyer bedienen kann. Am anderen Morgen hieß es, wir müssten uns Kaffeezubehör selbst besorgen.

The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable.

The location is a good spot, however during this weekend there were a lot of road closures due to the holiday (mid June) and it was very difficult or impossible to get bolts / Ubers to pick us up or drop us off. If you come during this particular week you may want to stay in a part of town that is not as affected by this. Or be prepared to walk.

Hotellin sijainti ihanteellinen, lähellä kahviloita ja paljon nähtävyyksiä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta.

Huoneen äänieristys oli heikko ja ensimmäisenä yönä viereisen kadun biletyksen äänet kuuluivat huoneeseen erittäin hyvin.

Very comfortable and clean, tram 28 right outside the window. So fantastic ambiance, adequate sound proofing on windows. Excellent breakfast next door at Copenhagen coffee house. Wonderful fado in restaurant 25 m up street
