Hampton Inn & Suites Rochester/Victor

We have stayed here a few years ago. A good choice. Clean, comfortable, quiet, fairly priced. Takes pets for a fee. Free breakfast. well located near restaurants,shopping and the NY State Thruway. Downtown Rochester is about 10 miles north of this property.

When we first walked in from the we were met by a large warm fire in the large fireplace. The front desk personnel, Pratima and Britney were courteous and efficient. Clearly the manager Emanuel Rogers knows her stuff. She is an asset to the company The room was clean and neat. Everything worked properly. Room service was courteous. The hot breakfast was delicious. Kathy J was very attentive and helpful as was Rachel B. We stay at this hotel several times a year and it has always been a good experience. Tim and Mary

We've stayed here several times while visiting family, and it is consistently good. The free breakfast is delicious and kept well-stocked and clean by a staff person who is there constantly. It's very near the interstate highway and a lot of shopping and restaurants, but it's quiet in the hotel. The lobby/breakfast room is furnished in a nice Arts and Crafts style, with a huge two-way granite fireplace in the middle.

We wish the bathroom light and fan had separate switches, as the fan is noisy. The pillows were kind of cheap and lumpy and the duvet/topsheet has a rough texture - upgrading the bedding would be welcome. But these are not major complaints. Generally a very good place to stay, and we'll go again.

Stayed here with my family while visiting our daughter at a nearby college. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient at both check-in and check-out. One awkward part of the hotel design, after checking in, you have to walk the entire length of the hotel to reach the elevator. You could probably park closer to that side, but we didn’t think about it ahead of time. Then once we got to our floor, we had to walk all the way back to the other end to reach our room. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely sized. The beds were comfortable, though they were doubles, not queens. The pillows looked great but offered very little support. The TV was a large screen, but the channel setup was older cable type, no streaming options, which was disappointing. The breakfast area was well maintained and kept very clean by the staff. The lobby had dark wood and a fireplace with a cozy ski-lodge feel. This was our second stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. The positives definitely outweighed the minor negatives.
