"Annoying and misunderstood service"

Most time when I stay in 5 star hotels, I get annoyed by the service: By check in we received 2 rooms at ground floor, even if my order specified that at least one should be at higher floor. It was important. Since we only stayed one night, we didn't complain. Grand-child wanted to go to pool, and it takes time to change room. Just before, I had to discuss with doorman to get my car key back. Sometimes it´s OK to use valet parking, but when you have travelled one week in car, you want to have control over car the last night to clean up, and check that nothing is left inside. As usual, luggage is taken care of by staff, so you have to sit and wait in room until delivered, - before you can go to pool. (Some hotels dont deliver luggage unless you are in room.) I like to bring a glass of wine from bar to room when I work on my computer. I went to the bar, and they asked me to call the roomservice. I guess it would be more "Covid-friendly" if I brought my own glass, instead of waiting 20 minutes for my wine in the room. Finally, the most "basic" service is the food-serving in the restaurant. In the pool-restaurant, we never received the orange juice for the child. It was only on the bill. My point is: Does a 5 star hotel exist for giving guests good, relaxed service, or do they exist for "constructing" as many tipping situation as possible? My feeling from this hotel - was the last. Re. Covid, the hotel was very clean, and disinfected all items in the room. Very good.
