Conrad Hamburg

Can't fault the staff, who made a big fuss over me since it was my birthday during my stay (2 day business trip), surprising me with a cake and card in my room (a delicious cake at that!). Room was spotless, capacious, and very comfy, with all the amenities you look for from 5*, e.g. lovely toiletries and a hairdryer that actually works; Nespresso machine etc. Only disappointing things were the shower, which came out at an odd angle so you had to lean diagonally backwards to use - frustrating! And TV lacking in options - no English channels other than BBC World News, all films pay per view. Room service was also 'til 11pm, rather than 24 hour - watch out for that if you work evenings when abroad - though food was superb. Wifi is OK strength wise but a bit of a faff - constantly having to re log on, which is tiresome when working. Otherwise all good. Overall a classic 5* hotel, that doesn't feel too pretentious and has thoughtful staff. Just a few niggles stopping it being a home run.

This hotel sits right in the heart of the inner city and is 3 mins from the station. It sits over a sweet arcade of engaging shops and leads through to the main shopping centre of Hamburg. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, tastefully maintained and comfortable. The heated floor in the spacious and well appointed bathroom is superb. Security is excellent and built in to the operations and structure of the hotel. The swimming pool is a good size and is accompanied by a spacious spa and sauna. The gym includes a rowing machine which was popular with one member of our party. The staff are keen to assist and provide very relevant and useful information. If I was regularly visiting Hamburg I would always stay in this hotel, and I’m sad that living in Australia I can’t enjoy it more frequently.

The location was perfect for all of our needs -Shopping, restaurants, tours, shows. We will definitely stay at the Park Hyatt on our next trip to Hamburg. The staff was always willing to go out of their way to help with any of our needs.

This was my second stay at Park Hyatt Hamburg and like last time, I was beyond happy with the beautiful room (two-level apartment) and the service at the hotel. From check-in with Johanna to having packages delivered, to room service, everything was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel and location for anyone staying in Hamburg. It's not cheap but the experience is worth it.

We stayed in a clubroom, which gave us access to an additional lounge serving light snacks and drinks all day, which was a nice touch. Room was good, facilities excellent and staff very helpful. Would have liked more milk available in room, but that is a minor point. Overall a very good stay. The hotel was handily placed for the centre of Hamburg.
