The AC works. the pool was nice.

The kitchen is poorly equipped. 2 forks for a 2 bedroom? The shower gel smells like bubble gum.

It was only about a 7-10min walk to the beach.

This place is DEFINITELY in need of a renovation. The doors don't seal well and mosquitoes and other critters get in very easily. The water is salt water. Obviously wasn't planning on drinking it, but brushing teeth and showering was a new experience. The shower water stayed warm for a max of 2 minutes. The shower would just spill water into the entire restroom so the floor and everything is just wet. The pool was not well maintained nor were the outdoor showers at the pool. I'm beginning to realize more and more that this is Kenya. Lots or workers just sitting around on their phones instead of ACTUALLY working and maintaining their property.

The location..nothing to see or do very boring

Caution! Horrible experience! Big, noisy and dusty construction site next to Aqua Resort where they drill night and day (aparantly a state run social housing project). The noise and dirt will last for years. Also 2 night clubs (Coco Bongo and Terminal 2 are very close and play loud music every night untll 3 or even 5 a.m. The place has cockroaches. When it rains water spills through the roof. Very untidy, toilets are filthy, the aircondition did not work well, blowing just warm air, and fauled completely on other various days (also, there is no back up gererator when there is one of the many Diani blackouts). Impossible to sleep. The last maintainence of the place must have been 19 years ago. The workers are nice, but can not help, most of them do not even speak English. The owners and managers just do not care. When complained, instead of fixing the problems, they just forced to find another hotel the next day. Instead of giving back what had been paid (euros) for the remaining days, they gave back a US-dollar amount, which was much less. Avoid if possible!
