Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard

Set right in the heart of the estate on top of a hill..every window in every direction was a perfect view of lush green vineyards as far as the eye could see. A very roomy cottage with comfortable beds and bathrooms. Feels nice and private, especially as its down a road set away from the main "hub" of the Hunter Valley. The main property for the complimentary wine tasting was stunning with a great outlook also, we had a great afternoon drinking and sitting out on the patio just soaking up the sun and the fantastic view!

Be warned those with fancy/low set cars that a part of the street to get to the estate entrance is a dirt road.

The location was the highlight to this property. It was picturesque, tranquil and quite private.

Just the smallest thing, a coffee machine would be such a nice addition.

The fortified wines tasting was excellent

The impersonal booking without any contact with someone. I had one question left phone messages sent emails and nobody came back to me either by phone or email response to my simple question.

We loved The Dairy cottage amongst the vineyards. The view was spectacular and the cottage cosy with the fireplace.

The place is very dated and needs some tlc. Furnture is very old and things ,generally need modernising.Also could.be cleaner. Such.a shame .They are relying on the.aesthetics of the location, which is to be honest incredible .You are.in the vineyard pretty much on own when it closes. Not the best vineyard for wine tasting I thought but sunrise is to die for on the hill by cellar door. Try Pigs Peake Winery and Tintalla on Heritage,Road, both very welcoming, informative and value tasting. All round amazing location, neglected accomadation, but very unique.
