Secrets on Main Bed & Breakfast

We loved staying at Secrets on Main! The hosts are friendly and personable. It is clear that they enjoy swapping stories, making delicious treats, and sharing the history of Cheboygan with their guests. They made us feel right at home and the Taffy room was clean, spacious and had the right balance of personal touches. I am so glad that the hosts took the time to show us the other rooms and share their inspiration for the design. The location is perfect; we got in on a Friday evening and were able to walk right out the front door and a short distance to find a delicious dinner of whitefish piccata, local beer with live music and a unique cider and mead hall with a folk band as well. The area was safe with easy parking and well lit streets.

This is an experience bed and breakfast, it's worth staying here just for the experience. the hosts are fantastic, warm and interesting. the building and rooms are each unique and decorated in a style that is both comfortable and museumesque. Cheboygan isn't on everybody's must see vacation places, but its worth the stop just to stay at this location.

Terry and Laurie are wonderful super-fun hosts to guests in their magnificent home. Amazing variety of themed guest bedrooms(5). They provide a great setting and a fantastic breakfast. My wife and i enjoyed our 2nd stay and look forward to visiting in the future.

Amazing!! If you want to feel like you are staying with your friends you haven’t seen in years, this is the place! We where welcome into this beautiful home with amazingly unique room with a tour of the property. We where made to feel at home right away. We where so relaxed and comfortable, we just wanted to relax on the front porch! We ended the night with s’mores around the fire with great conversation and new friends!!! It’s a must stay! We Will be back for sure !!

This BnB is excellent if you like packed-with-personality that goes funky and fun. The hosts are friendly as in, for me, overboard. Guests become the audience for the hosts. We had the smallest room as it was the only one available and with shower and toilet and sink IN the bedroom, it was way too cramped for the price. But, the hot tub and real wood fire were lovely. A lot of people would love it, it's just not for me.

Very friendly hosts were welcoming and helpful. Beautiful old house but newly renovated with all new amenities. Unique themed rooms were very creative and fun to stay in.

I will tell my friends and family to stay at this property. Wonderful owners that really make you feel as if you’re home. They decorated the house amazingly with little touches you’ll have to book and see for yourself. Breakfast was delicious and conversations with others made for a great time.

Good place to stay if you like the bed and breakfast experience.
