Knights Inn Somerset

First, the good things: 1) microwave, 2) mini fridge, and 3) hot shower. Secondly, this was the VERY WORST place I've ever stayed in. As you can see from the pics I took, everything is peeling and very dirty. There were bugs, and the carpet was damp. Towels and bedding were dirty. They must not use bleach or change the top covers. There was a wet towel in the bathroom hanging up, and the bedding looked like one of the housekeeping staff layed down and took a nap. There was a head indentation in the pillow, and the covers we're messy. We arrived late (11:30 p.m.) and no other rooms were available. We rented this room through AAA, but they will find out it should not be listed as a recommendation. My party was a lady in her 80s, another in her 70s, and myself in my 50s. What a HUGE disappointment! I received more towels when I turned in the wet one. The clerk was nice. I asked her for a discount on the room, but she didn't have the authority as only the owner did. She promised to call him in the morning. We shall see if there is a discount when the credit card bill arrives. Don't stay here. Go to the Comfort Inn or Hampton Inn nearby. Surely, they don't have bugs or dirty linens or wet carpet, etc. I wish I could give this a 0 instead of a 1.

Price was cheap because property was poorly maintained

Very friendly staff and comfortable sleep,

Building shows it's age. the overall was good room was clean and staff was very friendly.

Bad news 1.The sheets had stains on them Slept in my clothes. 2. Back of building looked like 3rd world 3 Terrified to walk without slippers on carpet 4.Buzzing refrigerator had to unplug it. Good News 1. Price 2. Toilet had been cleaned 3. Internet worked 4.Guy behind plexiglass counter was nice enough Conclusion: Price is very cheap so what was I supposed to expect. Beat's sleeping in a car seat.

Wall paper peeling off walls. Very dirty. Needs a lot of TLC... I never will stay there again . Needs to be torn down..

There was dog urine on our sheets upon arrival. Front desk clerk did not take it well. Told us God is watching and that we are lying. Horrible service, horrible condition.

Run down property in an isolated area. Parking lot filled with pot holes. Furnishing worn and cleanliness needs improvement. Good features are low rates and convenient location to Pa turnpike.

I booked a non- smoking room and they put me in a smoking room. I’m order to change rooms I had to pay $5. I even showed them my non-smoking reservation. The lady at the desk was very rude.

Nice hotel good value. Friendly owner
