Knights Inn Somerset

I used a coupon from the Hotel Discounts "magazine" I picked up at a rest area. The $44 was cheap and I actually expected less due to the price. I was pleased in that the room was very nice, the shower was powerful and put out plenty of water, there was a nice sized flat screen TV, everything was clean and neat. In the morning as I was packing my vehicle, the owner asked me how my stay was and we engaged in a good conversation and he showed me one of the newly remodeled rooms they were soon going to open. The owners seem to have pride in their motel and are very nice people. I was more than satisfied !

Its a deal. Has a fridge and microwave in room too.

Showed up after the check in time and was greeted by a terribly judgmental woman. She asked who was staying, my s/o or myself. I said we were on vacation and it’s both of us staying. She said we weren’t allowed to “party” or befriend the locals or the cops would be called. Then asked if we smoked. I said I wanted a non smoking room and she wasn’t going to give me one because she saw me smoking when we arrived. I never smoke indoors. And I refuse to stay in a stale Smokey room. Needless to say we left and will not ever consider staying there in the future. First impression wasn’t the best, so I feel like I’m being judgmental as well but we probably dodged bed bugs

The room was clean and quiet.

Did not refresh towels make beds or clean room. Carpet was visually nasty for lack of vacuuming.

If you’re looking for a cheap place to sleep and don’t care about looks, this is it. Just clean enough you don’t catch anything, but very dated and worn down. But again, it’s cheap. Don’t expect a Ritz Carlton for $60 a night. The nice thing is plenty of food choices around.

Ok nothing special

Staff was great. Room was filthy, smelled and disgusting though. Pubic hair in bed. Mold in bathroom. Tub was moldy. Bullet home in door and it was kicked in and repaired previously.

Old motel, could use an upgrade. Staff was very pleasant. Parking right outside your door. Room was very clean. Very inexpensive. Many restaurants , stores very close by. Nice location.

We stay in a lot of lower priced hotels. We expect simple, less than perfect rooms. But this place was a pleasant surprise. Fast, friendly check-in. Spotless room. Everything worked perfectly. Comfortable furnishings, nice sheets, blankets and pillows. Truly loved this stay.
