Villa Markoc

Beautiful, clean, modern apartment and the hostess Anita was lovely to deal with. There was a pool, hot tub, sauna on site. Would definately recommend 😀

It was a 10-15 minute walk down a steep hill to the centre but there's a regular bus service to bring you back up so no problem at all

Standard of accommodation and view were exceptional.

Such a relaxing holiday in stunning accommodation. Apartment has everything you could possibly wish for. Very clean and brilliant facilities from pool to sauna and hot tub. We even had a dishwasher. Anita, the host was very welcoming. We couldn't recommend it enough.

My friend and I had the best sleep – the area was so quiet, and the beds and mattresses were large and super comfortable. The location is great too, close to the city. The pool area was lovely and well equipped with plenty of amenities. What really stood out was the kindness of the staff and owners. They let us check in early, store our bags on our last day, and even allowed us to use the property while we waited for our afternoon flight. Exceptional hospitality. Highly recommend!

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property

Huoneisto oli kahdessa tasossa ja meillä oli molemmissa kerroksissa parveke sekä ilmastointilaite. Keittiö oli hyvin varusteltu ja pystyimme keittelemään aamulla puurot, paistelemaan munakkaat ja pihvit. Keittiöstä löytyi mikro, vedenkeitin, uuni, liesi ja jääkaappi (Pieni pakastin). Kahvinkeitintä ei ollut ja meillä olikin mukana suodatintötterö. Uima-altaalla oli rauhallista. Usein saimme olle keskenämme siellä. Grillihuonetta emme käyttäneet, mutta se näytti viihtyisältä. Meillä oli vuokra-auto ja kävimme isommassa kaupassa Lidlissä 10km päässä. Vierestä löytyy tosin pieni kauppa, josta haimme lähinnä täydennyksiä. Bussipysäkki parin sadan metrin päässä, josta pääsi Dubrovnikiin 4e.

Kuntosalihuoneessa on sen verran vanhat vempaimet, että niillä ei kyllä saanut mitään tehtyä. Lähellä majapaikkaa on rakennustyömaa, jonka äänet kuuluvat muuten niin rauhalliselle uima-altaalle. Lentokoneet laskeutuvat myös kylän läpi, joten ääntä niistä tulee. Huonokuntoiselle voi tehdä tiukkaa mennä kylän keskustaan ja nousta ylös varsinkin kuumalla. Matkaa on vain 800m, mutta mennessä alamäki ja takastullessa ylämäki portaineen. :D
