Suburban Studios LaVale - Cumberland

Easily accessible location. The room was spacious and clean. The fridge was a great size. The bed was comfortable. The lobby closes overnight but that had no affect on us since we had an outside, first floor room. What was bothersome was the guests. They'd honk their horns at 6am. We stayed 2 nights and it happened both mornings. There were a lot of lineman there with a lot of loud trucks and horns. No direct fault of the hotel, but inconsiderate to the guests.

I read the reviews about this place and thought it seemed ok. But Why didn’t anyone talk about the smells stuck in the walls and hallways?!!! Smoke and people cooking in the rooms were the smells that lived her

The room was great, really good location, staff was incredibly kind and the only thing that I would have changed if I could it was how thin the walls are you can hear absolutely everything going on in the hallway and unfortunately some of the rooms. But you're getting a great value especially for the price and I would recommend staying here to anyone who's in the area!

Very convenient to where I was going.

I had two rooms and we couldn’t get the tv to work in either one. My shower head caused water to leak out of the bath tub.

Nothing, the property was filthy and unkempt. The only saving grace was the staff tried to find me a clean room but all rooms were disgusting.

BED BUGS!!!! The sheets were stained with brown dots, like dried blood. The toilet bowl was covered in mold and the room stank. The air con smelled of wet mold, while the floors were sticky. I travel constantly to Cumberland, and this is the worst place that I stayed.

Comfortable bed. Clean. A little down and out.

Picked this place due to the decent ratings. Disappointing. Not as described. leanliness was suspect. Staff was pleasant. The staff had to provide instructions at check in for using the odd TV setup via a hotspot. After settling in the room we discovered the TV and phone to call for assistance didn’t work. The staff couldn’t get it to work so we had to pack up and move to another room.
