The Den Apartments

Great room with many extras. Comfortable, neat and with a big tv.

Parking for unit 52 is tight. Inverter was making a noise every so often. Even through the night.

Lovely touch of water & wine in the fridge on arrival.

The noise was unbelievable. Apartments are right next to a main & VERY busy road & also a railroad track. I could not recommend anyone to stay here unfortunately. Beds felt damp, ventilation very poor, could not use washing machine, oven etc incase of electrical outage (was not made aware of this before arrival) Shower in bathroom, NOT clean, dust & dirt around the edge of the shower door, tiles not clean.

The room location provided extra privacy and quietness. Close to the CBD. Good security.

The adjacent road is noisy in early hours of the morning. Contruction work and workers occupying the public roadway and access to property.

One of the security guards were disrespectful to me, I reported to the host but they did nothing about it. The same security never wanted to open the gate, I always had to wait for someone to open it for me. If you like quite places don’t go there, a lot of students and make a bunch of noise. The cleaning ladies know nothing about cleaning even dishes they don’t do it right.

Loadshedding was ongoing and the inverter/solar system was broken in the unit, thus all the things you might need, you cant use.

The apartment was nicely decorated, great pieces of furniture and oh the mirrors 👌🏾 The owners are great communicators too. The artwork on the walls was beautiful.

There was no round plug point for the hairdryer. I think the shower floor and drainage could be better.
