Extended Stay America Select Suites - Madison - Old Sauk Rd

Worst place ever, lobby smells like pot , screaming fights in the halls, and the rooms are prison like. No utensils whatsoever in the room, couldn’t even get a plastic fork from the desk. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Bathroom sink dirty and moldy and bathroom was so dark you didn’t want to take a shower. DON’T GO THERE! Doesn’t deserve even 1 star.

The staff were fast and helpful. The room was clean and much larger than expected. It was a last minute trip and we got assigned the handicap room. The room was very spacious. The bed comfortable. The only down side was no hand towel for the bathroom sink.

The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The room was so much bigger than a regular hotel room even though we didn't need the full kitchen facilities. The on site close parking was a great bonus. For how full the parking lot was it was very quiet.

A hand towel and soap for the bathroom sink would be helpful. The breakfast in the other building was really just coffee so don't plan that as your breakfast for a family.

Kind and efficient staff. Clean room. Some suspicious activity on the 1st floor - drugs/prostitution...or just a party room with colorful characters? Not what i would call "family friendly" but I did feel the stay was a good value. No shampoo in the rooms so remember to pack your own.

As with most of these type of properties , many people call these places home so they feel free to hang out in the hallways and wake up early and let their kids loose. There's 2 of the same named properties next to each other so make sure you are at the right address. There's no dishes or cook ware provided not is there a coffee maker.
