Oubaai Villa

الفيلا خياليه ،، وتصميمها يفتح النفس ، قعده استجمام ماودك تطلع منها بس تقعد بالفيلا وتروق. كنت متخوفه من الحشرات والعناكب بس الحمدلله ماواجهتنا هالمشكله.

الموقع بعيد عن كل شي.. اقرب سوبر ماركت يبعد 20 دقيقه

The tranquility of the area. Super secure and the property was stunning! The views and the comfort of the beds. I sleep like a baby. Super conform table and great communication with the host!

The spiderwebs in the seeling🫣 just because I am scared of them but it’s nature so nothing negative!

A bit moisty downstairs

- The views are spectacular from all the 1st floor over the gorge and the mountains. - The house is comfortable and very spacious. - The inverter and batteries means there is now load-shedding. - The pool was great especially due to the great weather. - Great bird life at the property.

- The wifi signal in the downstairs bedrooms is still poor. No change since staying here in Dec 2023. - The bedroom rooms need block out curtains or blinds. - The house is hot at time and there is no aircon. When doors are opened at night there are lots of insects etc coming in. - We found several scorpions in the house during our stay particularly the downstair bedrooms. The bushes around the house may need extra trimming especially around the downstairs bedrooms. - The braai was replaced with a boma braai. Whilst it worked well, there was no tray causing the hot ash / coles to fall though the deck onto the water tanks below. We placed a concrete stepping stone under the boma braai to prevent this.

The location is beautiful

The house wasn’t ready at check in time. We haven’t even received check in information on time and the cleaners were still busy when we got there. The blinds in the bedrooms are not good quality for sleeping and does not block out any light. The dstv was not working when we got there.

Loved the views & the tranquility of this home

The location of the property was amazing Great private location at end of a cul-de-sac Kitchen was fantastically equipped The bedrooms were all very spacious The open plan lounge and dining area with spectacular views over the gorge The entertainment area with pool

The only minor improvement suggestion is a WiFi extender to improve the signal in the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor.

Stove didn’t work. Gas wasn’t provided so that was a bit disappointing as we purchased grocery items for the self catering home but ended up eating at the restaurant as we weren’t able to cook our purchased goods which we eventually gave away.

Place only needs aircon or fan (it got very hot inside) Uninterrupted power supply for loadshedding and gas in the gas stove (which is an easy fix). Otherwise everything was perfect. There isn’t anything else to mark the property down on. 9/10 with the three points above being the only points for consideration on my end.
