"Ashtray room"

The room smelled like an ashtray as soon as we walked in. The sheets were old and pilly. The bed had bad body depressions.

"Won’t being staying at one for quite some time."

We didn’t like it.

We started out in the first room we were given, however a family member who was with us felt a bug crawling on them. NOT OKAY!! We asked to be moved to a different room which we were and the heater/air conditioning didn’t work. Baymont Hotels need to step it up a lot. They used to be nice hotels.

First somehow I'm charged for two rooms the same day and I'm in another hotel because I walked out it smelts so bad it was dark and it was dirty

Lots of signs around about the facility being under renovation. Given the state of my bathroom, they're gonna have to strip a lot more out to make it better than pooor.

"We had a good stay overall."

Breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was relaxing.

The bed was so worn that it made noise with any movement and wasn’t very comfortable.

"Good value for the money."

The room was nice, facilities very good, and the staff was very pleasant. After a long day on the road, it was a nice, comfortable respite.

The main disappointment was the breakfast. Too many hotels -- as was the case here -- think a good breakfast is every carb they can drum up. Bread, waffles, cereal, etc. I much prefer some protein -- eggs, sausage, and so on. Other hotels can do this, and so should Baymont. Also, there was more noise penetrating the room than I would like. I kept the a/c fan running all night to try to cover it.
