Travelodge by Wyndham Vaughn

The bathtub faucet would not turn on. When we finally got it on, we could not turn it off. My husband had to get his own tools to turn it off. This motel is understaffed. Two people taking care of the diner and the hotel. These 2 women were wonderful, however.

This is a totally unique experience in that it is literally out in the middle of nowhere and it has an old fashioned diner attached to it. You check in and out at the diner. The only drawback is that the toilets are terrible and clog frequently. They should replace those with a high flow flush kind.

Staff was excellent. The young person was especially helpful and kind. Staff at the dinner is friendly, warm and exceptional!

1st you had to go to the local diner to register, no elevator for luggage, staff very poor, door does not close automatic, latch didn't work, very unsafe, area very poor

Little bit noisy if you try too rest listen a neighbor went they open and close the doors

Nice cafe, good family food, friendly people.

Repeatedly checked into a “clean room” with dirty sheets. Will overlook some things , but there’s no compromising here. Counters look like they’re wiped down with a dirty rag. Some housekeepers here still hold themselves to a higher standard, but they are diminishing.

Worst experience in a hotel/motel ever. Arrived to find out they had given away room/reservation (guess this is normal for this location; should have read other reviews - they contract with Railroad and give them rooms first....Wyndham is considered a 3rd party reservation with no clout). We arrived at 8 and it was 930 before we got any room at all (not matching our reservation at all). Weather stripping on door was totally worn out so the wind howled in the door all night (or original reservation was for an inside room). Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this place.....totally ruined the brand for me....never again!!!!

Even though I booked the reservation 2 months in advance when we got there we were told we didn’t have a room because the train work crews were staying there and they have priority no matter, what so we are out of luck. There is no front desk, you have to walk about 30 yards to a restaurant in front to book. Thankfully Hotels.com found another room for us at another location in the next town.
