The dinning car was fun and the room was fine.

This place is a poop hole! It’s reserved for railroad workers, that don’t even like to stay there. The employee turnover is so high. If you notice, there’s nothing around here. Every time I stay there, I have to basically clean up behind housekeeping. They don’t clean the bathrooms, sinks, vacuum the floors, microwaves, worth anything. I wouldn’t be surprised that they don’t even change the sheets and comforter. This entire city needs to be condemned, the railroad companies needs to be smacked for putting their employees in these living conditions. But, they don’t care, they’re just money hungry.

The door did not seem to seal all the way, letting small insects in. I think they were changing the locks, and this one just didn’t get installed correctly. However, it was clean. We had breakfast at the little diner in front and it was great. The service in the restaurant was really great also.

Reservation was cancelled without notification leaving us stranded

We didn’t stay. The town had no water. They were really nice about a refund.

Hotel is close down

Although Travelodge accepted my booking with a confirmation e-mail, when I arrived, I was told there are NO rooms available for me. This is the last thing I wanted to hear at 9 pm! I told them I had already paid and received a confirmation message welcoming my arrival with a booked room. The clerk told me the railroad workers have priority therefore they gave my room away. She said they do this all the time. I would NEVER book here again. They should NOT advertise on the internet or should place a stipulation MAYBE YOU WILL HAVE A ROOM, BUT MOST LIKELY NOT!

The staff was unavailable for check in. She left a note on the door to say she will be right back after walking the dog for 10 minutes. We waited with our baby for over half an hour before she came back. Unapologetic and very rude as she was checking us in. The Room was also nasty, unclean and horrid stench. Avoid this place.

When I got to property, which I had booked a week earlier, they had NO reservation from Expedia in my name. I had to get on the phone and directly contact a motel in Santa Rosa, NM, for a room for that night. Tried contacting Expedia by phone, by computer, etc. Could not get support! Next time I will contact Motel directly! Upset me for certain!
