Travelodge by Wyndham Vaughn

I can't believe Wyndham put their name on this facility. It is a very old style motel used by oil field workers. No lobby and had to check in at the restaurant. Staff was not friendly and I seemed to be bothering them during check in and check out. Lounge area was not adequate and was used by workers for an office. Had microwave and refrigerator in room, but no coffee. Beds were clean but the rest of the room needed better care. Oh, yes, they did charge $8.00 more than the Hotels.com booking. Did not even consider the restaurant after smelling all of the grease. Got frozen dinners and breakfast at the gas station across the street.

The room was acceptable for a budget motel. The service was totally unacceptable. They assigned my room also to another person who tried to break in the door after I had gone to bed. They never gave me proper paper work for the room and when I checked out they gave me the wrong receipt and printed it on the back side of used paper.

Room clean and accommodating. Where they go above is through service and hospitality. Don’t be in a big hurry and you’ll have a great experience. Seems like the middle of nowhere but it is quiet and restful. There is a gas station nearby and Penny’s Diner serves good food and milk shak

The ownership and operation of this motel is odd. You must register at the adjacent diner and there is no one in the motel "office". But everyone seemed friendly and the room was adequate but no luxurious. Most of the other patron appeared to work for the railroad. There was no breakfast.

Understaffed, overbooked. Realty nice lady running entire place including , the restaurant,housekeeping, check in.everything! 4:00 am up because someone is trying to use card to get in room. Railroad hotel, overbooking.no bed spread,no ability to come up with a blanket .

We had to register at the diner for the motel and they didn't have breakfast as advertised.
