The Mews Hotel

Its the only hotel listed on here in Ossett. Its located close to the quiet town centre with the bus station and football ground. The rooms were clean and comfortable I don't know if you can open windows but that wasn't needed due to the weather, the only issue was the kettle lead which is too short to use on the table so I had to use the socket on the floor. Breakfast was a choice of sausage or bacon sandwiches or eggs and toast, cereal, yoghurts and fruit. I don't think they do a full English. Bar was busy with diners in what is a food orientated pub, portions looked good.

We stayed at the hotel for only night, however, we throughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were professional, helpful and very friendly. We had dinner in the authentic bar, we loved the enthusiasm from the waitress and the you desert chef. The beer and food was to a very good quality. The only negative was that our room was a little small, perhaps if we had been staying longer we may of had a larger room ?

As a single lady traveling for work purposes. The staff could not have made me feel more welcome. Lovely rooms, excellent staff. Food and service is amazing. Highly recommend.

Visited on Saturday night. A Busy pub with great atmosphere, incredible food & friendly staff. Will definitely be returning.

The Mews hotel has a friendly bar, the food was very good and staff were enthusiastic and helpful. We had a short stay and enjoyed our time here.

We stayed one night so we probably were given the smallest room, it was adequate but small

There was a warm welcome when I arrived. The room was simply furnished with, well presented and very clean with a comfortable bed and good heating. All the staff were very good at what they did and the food was plentiful and very tasty. The restaraunt was very busy, even for a Tuesday night so suggest you book a table I would stay here again without question

Good location. Room was clean if rather small. Bathroom was spacious. Accommodation ok overall.

Staff were not very friendly on arrival, phoned ahead to request arriving a little later than estimated time due to concert in Leeds running late but they would not accommodate our request. Breakfast was really bad, no menu, just a limited choice between a sausage or bacon sandwich or scrambled egg. One cup of cheap coffee, restaurant was cold and staff started clearing tables whilst we were still eating
