Holland House

It’s a superb old house and full of character. Our room ‘The Snug’ is just that but was an excellent stopover for our weekend. The addition of bread, milk, butter, jams and cereal was a real nice touch. Will be staying again.

There is no space to cook but look - the clue is in the name ‘The Snug’

Great location close to promenade, beach and public transport. 2 good pubs nearby and easy to park on street next to the house. Everything you need is supplied, clean and hosts friendly.

Curtains in main bedroom let in a lot of light, with it being summer it meant an early start.

Nice fresh bread. I bought my own cereal.

Blackout window blind would help.

Before we arrived we were messaged by Charlie with all the info needed to have a easy check-in. Upon arrival we had freshly made bread,butter and milk. The rooms we spacious and clean.

We happened to meet the owners by chance when we arrived, and they were incredibly warm and welcoming. They kindly let us in and showed us to our room – thank you so much for that. Prior to arrival, we received a message from Charlie with all the information we needed, and they thoughtfully checked in on us the following day as well. We were delighted to find a freshly baked loaf of bread and jam waiting for us, which was such a lovely touch. The room itself exceeded all our expectations. We stayed in the balcony room, which came with our own private veranda – we were truly blown away. We would absolutely stay again!
