Location perfect for the function we attended.

Perhaps an ensuite would have been better.

The shower worked really well.

It was a relief to come home because the bed was so uncomfortable. It creaked really badly and kept us awake. There was a sign up stating that someone would come and collect the dishes to wash on a morning but no one ever did. We had to wash them in the sink in the shower room which is totally unsatisfactory. The cupboard where the tea and coffee were stored was dropping to bits and fell apart each time I got the coffee out. There was loads of dust under the bed. The worst bit was definitely the bed. There was a thin cheap looking mattress topper on top of the mattress but it was still hard. I didn’t bother complaining because I’d had a very bad experience with a representative of this place on the phone before arrival, besides which we were there to be on holiday not to deal with all of this. Why there are any good reviews is a puzzle to us. I do have photos of some of this. I might upload them when I have more time.

Holland House was a last minute find for me and I could not be more happy with the whole experience! We received details about the property and check in instructions before arrival and were welcomed with a freshly baked loaf of bread - delicious! It was very easy to get to and the parking was a bonus, especially being so close to Liverpool!

Great location next to the beach, short walk along the prom to the New Brighton area. Really clean, nice facilities, staff very accommodating and and lots of little extra touches such as a freshly baked loaf of bread on arrival. Great value.
