Holland House

The apartment is located in a beautiful building, very close to Vale Park and with free parking on the street below. I loved the chaise longue by the window.

I was deeply disappointed with this accommodation. The bedroom is described as en-suite, but you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet, making it exclusively a urinal for men. The furniture (mirror, dining table, chairs, doors, chaise longue) was damaged and not replaced, or was dirty or stained. I bought disinfectant wipes to clean the areas used daily. The floors had not been cleaned in areas such as under the bed, which were perfectly accessible and visible upon entering the room, immediately giving me a feeling of distrust in the hotelier. The baby's crib was there, but I had to buy the sheets myself because they were delivered after three nights. On the third day, I heard the cleaning staff insulting each other from the street, and then shouting in the apartment next to mine to put the pillow and milk on the floor using foul language. Breakfast was described as continental, but the only things provided were bread, butter, jam, and cow's milk. There was only one coffee pod and three chocolate pods in the apartment, even though two adults had booked for five nights. Cereal, oats, and instant coffee were also provided, but they were not sealed. Bread was provided in the apartment upon our arrival but was never replenished, so we had to buy it. The hotel owner offered to partially refund us but never did so. We won't be coming back here, and I don't recommend it to other travelers.

Gorgeous loaf of home made bread left for us. Breakfast foods just as stated.

Door code difficult but outer door subsequently left open as owners realised there was a problem.

Die Küchenaussrattunc ist etwas spärlich wenn man diese richtig nutzen würde

Well kept comfortable and quiet

Lovely host. Arrived to fresh bread, milk, butter etc… Beds were very comfy. Lots of parking. Really lovely location, short walk down to the riverside and beach, quiet.

It was well positioned for access to the promenade and local amenities. It had parking we could access nearby.

One radiator to heat whole studio; towel rail plugged in but not working so nowhere to dry damp towels after showering (stayed 2 nights). Probably not wholly practical for a stay on a cold, wet winter weekend.
