Hostel Posada de Gallo

Nice grungy hostel with a beautiful garden which is perfect for meeting other people. Bit run down but the atmosphere makes up for it.

Good location, helpful staff .

Great staff, fun 20-30 yr old travelers from around the world. Also great if you’re heading towards Bolivia or Peru for trekking and sightseeing.

Need to take an uber or taxi from airport or bus terminal

Close to the beach lots of younger travelers making their way to north, salt fields, Peru or Bolivia.

A bit of a walk from the terminal of buses a cab is needed

La posada del gallo is one of the best hostel where I have ever been. The garden is amazing and the environment is automatically bringing you to socialize with other people. The owners and the voluntary staff was so amazing that it was difficult to leave. Thanks to all of you

Todo bien. Clean room, clean shared bathroom, garden and a communal kitchen. Owner helped us with a Taxi for the next morning.

There was a nice vibe and the location was ok. There was hot water in the shower. The breakfast was nice. The outdoor common spaces were nice too.

Some things didn’t seem very clean and the bathroom was outside and wasn’t protected from the cold
