"Pleasant stay."

9.0

Very pleasant stay in a comfortable and well maintained property with excellent views particularly from the living area. Parking is an issue within the narrow street and limited parking nearby. Excellent service from the agent both pre and post stay. Good value and would consider returning.

"Fabulous accommodation with beautiful views."

10.0

Situated in the historic and quaint little seaside town of Cellardyke, close to the harbour with fabulous views the townhouse was beautifully decorated, with very high quality furnishings and toiletries etc. The view was absolutely stunning over the shore to the river estuary from the loft living area. It was cosy and had everything you needed, with plenty of space for a family or group of friends to stay. It was dog friendly too, and my dog loved sleeping on the warm wooden floor with the sun streaming in the window. There were good walks nearby and of course you are very convenient for the East Neuk, St Andrews and all the facilities Fife has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

Good location

Not enough glasses or crockery. Table only seated 4 but accommodated 7. Couch was very uncomfortable and difficult for older people to use. Toilet seat was broken and damp smell in main bathroom. Lots of stains in carpets.

"Cozy cottage by the sea in a charming location."

8.0

Good beachside location. Newly refurbished, tasteful decor and well-equipped. Very clean.

Open-plan living area would have been rather cramped for the maximum occupancy of 4 adults and three children.

"A lovely well appointed holiday let"

The size was very good for a family holiday. It was like a home from home, with excellent quality bedding, cushions very nicely decorated throughout with exceptionally wonderful sea views

Everything was so good

"Not as expected and expensive as family got a beautiful accommodation with fire for less than we paid"

8.0

The property was clean on arrival. We then discovered that behind the sofa hadn’t been cleaned. This annoyed me as we paid £108 for a cleaning fee. The sea view

The stairs were pretty steep. I have mobility issues so was hard. The sofa was not comfortable at all. It move. When you sat down. It’s a corner sofa. We had to move part of the sofa to expand the table at breakfast. We put up with it ax we only stayed 2 nights. Its was expensive for 2 nights.

"We had a lovely stay at the Captains Lookout, excellent location for exploring the area."

7.0

The location was excellent, the sea views amazing. Very tastefully decorated and furnished.

It hadn’t been cleaned well, there were bits of food behind the sofa, a dirty sock sticking out from under one of the beds, smeared windows. The bathroom needed a bit of attention, paint peeling above the shower and discoloured sealant round the bath. Feather pillows/cushions-allergies. Lack of storage for food in the kitchen and lack of storage for clothes. The lock on the front door was very dodgy. Board games/books would be good.
