Meet all our requirements view from the lounge was beautiful very clean and comfortable beds and the two bathrooms was a bonus. This accommodation has everything you need home from home

Nothing not to like

Fabulous location, quiet with amazing views and great place for exploring the countryside and local pubs and restaurants. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds with good quality pillows & linen and more than enough toiletries. Plenty of hot water and great to have a washing machine, tumble dryer etc. for longer stays. Nice to have the binoculars supplied although it is a good idea to bring your own as everyone will want to use them to watch for the local wildlife! Would not hesitate to come back and recommend to anyone wanting a break in this beautiful part of the world.

Not about the property but all the reminders of extra charges (on every communication) are a bit off-putting and left a slightly sour taste even though we didn’t need any of them. Whilst we do understand that, due to COVID the contactless handover has lead to more regulations a more flexible/personal approach would be nice. On a very minor front a few more wine/highball glasses would be nice and silicone kitchen utensils would prevent the pans getting scratched.

The location was amazing the beds were really comfortable and it had everything we needed for our holiday

The rooms were nice but there was a lot of bits that needed touching up throught , the living area really let the apartment down the carpet was really hard to walk on and not so good when the wee one fell. The couch was so low, difficult to get out of and kept moving apart. But our biggest problem was the downstairs utility rm the door is very poorly fitting and the bedroom each night was crawling with bugs well into double figures each night coming in from outside ive no idea what they were but they crawled about then started jumping! The locks on the front door were poor as well the door was very difficult to open i really struggled every time. The apartment could have been much cleaner.

Location is first class with tremendous views. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen is well stocked and the broadband and tv worked as expected - a good experience

Parking is difficult but thats part of the charm of Cellardyke

only one hand towel in shared bathroom leaving only one bath towel per person. Normally expect each person to have a hand towel. Too few red wine glasses
