Clean on arrival. In spite of being close to road, quiet inside

Small bedrooms and small (single) loo/shower room. Very surprised rated for 6 guests. We object to being offered entry into prize draw by letting agency if we give 5 star rating. Inside doors and handles basic quality.

Where do I start? First thing I noticed when my husband was trying to get the key out of the box, the front window and door could do with a good clean It smelt old! Every window was filthy! Bathroom was filthy, last people hair all over the shower tray and floor, no privacy glass in the bathroom window overlooking the owner’s immaculate house and garden Kitchen worktops had last people’s breakfast all over it, jam, crumbs the lot! Cutlets is in the old sideboard drawer with a filthy felt liner!! Went to use the crockery, needed washed, sink bowl was disgusting as was the cupboard and an old dead spider in another cupboard We only touched what we needed to, didn’t look in any of the info books (expect looking for a number to complaint to) I’m no sure that the review I read before we went stayed in the same place!! The small garden in the back stunk of dog pee as there is nowhere to walk your dog, our dogs had to stay in as the owners dogs wandered round their garden (which they are entitled to do) but came over and barked at ours The owner should be ashamed of himself letting the cottage out in the state it is and us having to lookout onto his his immaculate home Was that bad we cut our losses and headed home a day early

Close to St. Andrews but in a quiet, secluded area. Lovely area.

Great property, clean and good location.

Nicely laid out for a family. Very conveniently located for a short drive into St Andrews. The basics were provided and it was clean and tidy. We appreciated the games that were left.

Poor location for dogs, even though it's in the countryside. No safe walks, not even out of the front door as the road was very busy and noisy. You definitely need a car for everything (we almost didn't have one as our rental company failed to deliver - no car would have been a NIGHTMARE here). Double room had a bed which was barely a standard double but weirdly the duvet was massive, which made nights quite uncomfortable. Felt as though the owners did as little as possible (managed by a private company which was on the doorstep 10mins before check out time).
