Clean rooms, great garden. Great view. Close to St Andrews. Everything was great and as expected.

The cottage was stunning inside and out. The location was perfect and we enjoyed sitting outside and watching the birds and wildlife. A perfect stay.

Nothing

The location was good, but the property was difficult to find.

Wr had difficulty with turning on the heat and hot water, and using the stove and the instructions were unclear or, in the case of the hot water, misleading. We spent considerable time in trying to make the systems and appliances work.

Spacious living area

The double bed was not comfortable compared with similar accommodation.

The owners were lovely and very friendly, but also left us to our own devices. Great location and facilities were excellent.

The managing agents should have heated the property before we arrived - it was the 29th December and we were going through a very cold snap. They cottage took 4 hours to heat up. It was unacceptable on the agents side. Luckily my mother-in-law had a cold so couldn't come anyway, if she had, we would have had to take her home, as it was so cold for the first few hours. I did call the agents to explain, but no compensation was offered on their part. We will be back, but the heating should have been on for arrival!
