Seagull Bay Motel

Room was in the middle of 2 others right on the road. It was noisy all night long with traffic, with people coming and going until 11 30 at night. It sounded like they were in our room. At 6 30 am the other neighbor left, his door banging shut 5 or 6 times. The light from traffic in both directions was visible all night. I paid 240.00 to get NO sleep. I will never be back and will share this experience with others.

I was disappointed we didn’t have a lake view, but that was a question. I did not ask, but I love that you could go to a outdoor patio and look out over the lake. Very nice place.

Loved the outdoor space, location, walking path into Bayfield. We never used our car on our 3 days getaway. Very quiet and relaxing…

This property offered everything we were looking for. If you are looking to unplug and explore nature while enjoying modern anenities this place is for you. My husband and i enjoyed our time. Internet is spotty however the point of being there is to explore the beauty of the area. They should include a better antenna for local tv/weather. Otherwise, really wonderful well appointed place.

Bait and Switch...be aware... if you think you'll be staying in a room as shown in the pictures, it's not going to happen. We arrived at the motel location in the pic, and they sent us to another motel down the road...with a view of the parking lot that is about 20' off the main road. Our room #29 was approximately 10' x 10' with a bed that felt like we were sleeping on a board and an air conditioning unit that sounded like a jet engine. Additionally, as shown in the attached picture, I discovered that the A/C unit was full of mold. I was wondering why I was sneezing, coughing, and wheezing. Didn't see the mold until the morning we checked out. I made the owner aware that we were extremely disappointed, and all he said was that's what you get when booking on Booking.com. I wonder why they even advertise on Booking.com as they seem to have an issue with it? We will never stay here again. Luckily, after speaking to many locals, we got some leads on where to stay next time we visit.

We loved our stay!

I called because we were a bit early sans received a gentleman who was not helpful. However, after a staff member walked up to us and was very friendly. Checked to see if our room was ready as the gentleman it was an instant no and we traveled for some time. She found our room was available and was so friendly. She took the time and that is why our check in was good. The room is very easy to hear every sound around you. Such as the picnic tables outside our door. You feel like they are inside your room. The location is great for the trail.

What a beautiful escape on Bayfield. My husband and I spent our days hiking, exploring the town and checking out the local ciders. It was nice to come back to an air conditioned room to relax and clean up. Highly recommend and we will.be back

Our stay was short, but this room met our needs. The staff was responsive and friendly. We were able to park right outside our room. Everything was very clean. Beautiful view of the lake. We would definitely stay again.
