Seagull exceeded our expectations! From the beautiful updated room with kitchenette to the wonderful hospitality and great view! Located right by a trail that walks you to town in a few short minutes. The owners are great as well! Highly recommended. We’ll be back!

We LOVE Seagull Bay! We have stayed here many times and find it to be very comfortable and a great value. We love waking up to Lake Superior views. We had a vintage room this time and we still love the vintage look and also the remodeled rooms. The room was very quiet and we slept great. Thank you to the wonderful owners Mollie and Isaac!!!

Everything I hoped and more. Terrific, modern-styled flip of an older motel. Great views on the deck. Central location. Walking trail into main drag of town. Comfortable beds and linens. Huge TV. Free ice bags in the detached icehouse. Modern HVAC with responsive thermostat. College dorm fridge and coffee supplied. Strong free WiFi in a town that lacked coverage 90% of the time was appreciated service for this normally-data-plan-dependent web surfer. We had 5 in our party: 2 adults/3 kids. Wife and I shared 1 bed, 2 kids the other, 1 kid on an air mattress. Room space was enough for that and our luggage and food, and we still had space to eat a local pizza and watch cartoons together. Great stay. If you're on the fence, say yes. Owners were present each morning, interested in our fam, and helpful with town reccs.

Loved this area and the view from your deck overlooking Lake Superior! The room was exactly what we saw in the pictures with a kitchenette, stove and refrigerator, and coffeemaker. No restaurant but some a mile away. Quiet rooms and easy walking trail to the pier.

Great location next to the lake and also very close to downtown restaurants within walking or a short drive. Love the back sitting area in the evenings and mornings.

Motel with a great view of Lake Superior! Bed was not comfortable at all unfortunately. Rooms are small but clean. Refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker were included in our room. Doors could use an extra layer of security, as they key lock only. Some noise from rooms above. Had no interaction with staff as checked in on-line and no-one was at the front desk when I checked out. Have to leave area to find a restaurant.

We had a beautiful view of Lake Superior from our window. We could sit outside and drink our coffee. The room was very calming, spacious and clean. Our king size bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect.
