Perfect accommodations for a 2 day stay in Bayfield. Close to everything, and very clean.

Very nice locally owned motel. Very clean, well kept. A sincere Thank You from the owner on our departure. How nice! Very helpful answering tourist questions.

We used to come 25 years ago - so nice to see it's still a locally owned paradise. The walk out was perfect for my family, great view, great location. Kids loved playing on the giant lawn and walking the brownstone trail into town. All the staff was amazing! And the price was right. Hoping to book again next year.

Nice view of Lake Superior ...easy trail access..10 minutes to downtown Bayfield . Owner was pleasant Our room had minimal amenities...was not at all worth the price paid ..

My wife and I stayed at the Seagull Bay Motel in Bayfield, Wisconsin, for three nights in mid-August. The room was clean and comfortable, offered a great view of Lake Superior. The staff was friendly. Perhaps the best feature was you could walk to town via a path in about 15 minutes. Bob L

The photos clearly showed wood floors. Upon room entry, there was smelly, musty carpet. Since we arrived later in the evening, We left in the morning. They charged for two nights. We feel this is wrong. No response from the manager.

We enjoyed our stay at Seagull Bay Motel very much. Our room was very spacious and had a wonderful water view from the shared balcony outside of our room. The location was very close to the beautiful city of Bayfield and the dock where you can get on a boat cruise of the Apostle Islands or the Ferry to Madeline Island. There are many great restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance of the motel or a short drive. We also explored some of the area - a beautiful hike at Meyers Beach, visiting farms, orchards and cideries in the area, an Apostle Island Cruise and a ferry ride to visit Madeline Island. This was our first trip to Bayfield and we will definitely be returning.

This is a great family run hotel, clean and nice and great access. My only wish is they had branded merchandise! I wanted a t-shirt!

We stayed in the Hideaway, which was perfect for families –– two bedrooms and a living and dining space. The view of the lake was really a view of trees so don't stay in this room if you're looking for a great lake view. Seagull Bay has lots of great rooms with stunning views, so choose a different room. This is an amazing property with amazing owners –– we've been staying here for years. We'll just go back to our "old" room next year. Enjoy your stay!

Comfortable bed, nice view, friendly staff. Close to town on trail. Walls a bit thin. Great to have fridge and microwave.
