Quaint, clean, and quiet. Beautiful view of Lake Superior. Friendly owners. Loved my old dog. Location close to the village.

The good: view from the balcony was fantastic, the location and path along the lake to town were great. The bad: stains on the carpet, sheets as thin as paper, pillows were below average, woodwork was worn in many places, an old refrigerator and microwave, a bathroom was a small closet, and the only thing new was the floor. Would I stay there again? No. I would add that it was very expensive for the quality of the inside of the room.

Lovely view from the deck off the room. Friendly staff and guests. Nice walking trail along the lake into town. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent!

Was disappointed in the room, very small, basically big enough for the bed and nothing more. I was surprised at the unit we were assigned. This was not clear when booking. I expected a view, but instead we were stuck in a tiny room that was literally just a few feet from main road. The big trucks passing by all night shook the room. No view at all, which was a surprise (I'm sure the other rooms were better) For the price on a weekday night, I expected more. Heat was a plug in radiator A few outlets were dead Otherwise clean and neat and staff was friendly So if you go, do not let them put you in room 1

Clean, great view of Lake Superior and trees. We staying in the guest house which is at the top of the hill right off Hwy 13. Noise wasn’t bad for having traffic right there. With in walking distance of downtown. Had coffee, coffee maker, coffee filters, microwave, air fryer in the room. Cozy room with great view of the sunrise. I’d recommend a luggage rack and better creamer lol

The Seagull Bay is perfectly located with an amazing view. You can easily walk on the brownstone trail into downtown Bayfield. It's a perfectly flat trail and only about .4 of a mile from shops and restaurants. Wake up in the morning and enjoy the gorgeous sunrise from the deck. The rooms are very clean and comfortable - a little small, but they make the most of the space with good storage options. Coffee was provided in the main office and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. This motel is a great bargain.

Simple accommodations with attention to occupants’ needs. Has microwave, coffeemaker and small fridge. Tiny but nice bathroom. What made this stay was the view of the lake and the walking trail behind as well as the foliage and convenience to dining. Beautiful setting

Although the room was small, it was very clean. Fine for a one night stay.

I love retro motels so it was right down my alley. Lovely, quality appointments, sink, fixtures, frig, microwave, furniture, bedding. In other woods, cute, cute. Our room was at the top of the hill with a view. We were happy to meet the owner who was as delightful as could be and we hope her and their young family success. They were accommodating to our late arrival.

We enjoyed our stay. Something we would have appreciated: A box of Kleenex in the room. Things appreciated: Ice for our cooler.
