"Perfect place to stay if you are visiting Bryson City!"

10.0

From even before the trip we were greeted and made sure that everything would be prepared for our arrival. Noting what time we would be there so they could ensure that we would have access to our room if arriving late to making sure there were no dietary restrictions for our morning breakfast. Even though we arrived fairly late, we had a friendly greeting upon arrival, they showed us around the property and shown our way to the room. The property was very festive even though it was the begging of the ride (but Christmas is a big time for Bryson City as a whole due to the Polar Express train ride). The hosts Jamie and Ryan were always very accommodating. Jamie prepared a delicious breakfast each day and Ryan stepped into the Polar Express character as a train conductor for all the kids (and us grown up kids as well). The facility itself is very quaint. Definitely not the sterile chain hotel environment. It was warm and inviting, there was a nice fire ring, patio for sitting outdoors (it was a bit too cold for us this trip to do that). There is a nice dining area for breakfast as well as a smaller area if you are looking to be away from the bigger families. They also have a nice seating area inside with a fireplace, perfect for the weekend we were there with some rare November snowfall.

Hard to find anything really wrong...I will just say the driveway was a bit challenging, especially for someone born and raised in Florida.

"Thank you, great Inn keepers."

Great Breakfast & Location. I like how you tied in the Polar Express Train Ride in with your Inn. Our Grandson love the Polar Express Train going around the Christmas Tree, and the Elves made a visit and left ornament and treats for our Grandson.

Ideal place to stay.

A lovely historical property with gracious hosts to welcome you. It offers privacy & rocking chairs on the porch! Apparently has changed ownership Somewhat recently with the expectation of updating to take place in the rooms. They were comfortable and clean and offered good space to rest

"Lovely place for access to the Smokey Mountains"

8.0

Breakfast was truly a delight. It was delicious, homemade, and lovely with great service from the co-host of the Inn. I had a nice walk around the area and also enjoyed being so close to downtown Bryson. It was very close to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, which was why we came up, and we had just a wonderful time driving through the Fall.
