"Trip to Bryson City"

Loved the location and the facility grounds. Dining area was very nice. Coffee was delicious and breakfast offerings were very nice.

Stairs to room were quite steep. Considering age of facility, the room was fairly well appointed and the bed was comfortable. There was some hair in the bathroom and the baseboards could use a cleaning.

"Lovely alternative to a standard hotel."

The main building shown on ads is beautiful and includes a common sitting room and a lovely breakfast area. Rooms are in additional buildings behind it. Lovely grounds, walkways, fire pit, and patios. Our room had a lovely porch with rocking chairs. Breakfast included continental items plus a surprise entry. Staff were very friendly and showed us around when we arrived. It was a nice change from a regular hotel.

No elevator. Note the floor when you pick a room if that is an issue for you.

The location is great and the service is nice and warm. Have a beautiful garden and public area can enjoy during stay.

The house is over 50 years those maitenance in quite well, but the fan in bathroom make a big noise when used.

Love the hosts and our breakfast chat. The room was cozy, bed comfortable, and the water pressure was awesome. Grounds/garden feature was nice. Communication prior to visit was very good.

Spider in the bathroom and a couple of stink bugs near the bed. I know it is a fact of life…

Beautiful inn on a hill in the woods. Main facility was charming and spacious with well thought out care given to lots of guests. Check out the pictures on the website and posting from reviews. They have not been edited. There were so many things to do OR just sit, relax and enjoy the beauty all around! It would be a great view anytime but especially with the color burst of Fall. AND we were met by the owners and given personal tour..

We were warned about the steep stairs before our arrival... to get to our third floor room...it was worth it for our view and stay. Just be aware! They are steep and narrow! We also didn't like not having enough time to stay longer. Lovely place that we would like to come back!
