Hotel Tropicus Boutique

It was older and quaint but very clean and freshly painted. The bed was comfy and the pillows were good. Nice big shower with ample hot water. There was a little kitchen with microwave, fridge, 2 burner stove top, blender, plates and utensils. The staff went out of their way to make everything as nice and fancy as possible. I was blessed with a quiet room even though the hotel sits right on a main, busy street. Good location, only 3 blocks to the south end of the Malecon. All in all a good spot. I would stay here again

L accueuil etait excellent et tout le monde etait toujours souriant et pret a aider. L emplacement etait pas mal mais les bars du coin ferment entre 3 et 6h00 du matin, boules quies obligatoires

Isolation sonore doit etre ameliore et l hotel necessite un peu d amour

Le bruit !! Nous donnions côté rue avec un bébé … la musique à fond toute la nuit …

La habitación súper bonita, limpia, las camas confortables, todo bien acomodado.

Del alojamiento todo perfecto, solamente que nuestra habitación estaba al lado de un bar nocturno el cual no permite que el descanso sea placentero. Lamentablemente eran las 5 de la mañana y aún había música a gran sonido.

The unit was not clean upon check-in. The doors and windows were poorly insulated, resulting in excessive noise in the bedroom, which made it impossible to sleep before 4:00 a.m. on most nights. In addition, the faucet was malfunctioning, and there were periods with no running water. The unit was also inadequately equipped, lacking even basic items such as spoons or utensils. We requested a room change; despite the availability of other units, our request was ignored, and we had to endure these conditions until the end of our stay. Unfortunately, Booking.com did not take any meaningful action and only offered a minimal 10% credit, which was inadequate given the circumstances. Based on this experience, I would not use Booking.com again or recommend it to others.
