a real dump, run down, booking.com should remove it from their listings and be ashamed to offer it. It is incredibly noisy on one of the busiest corners of the Romantic zone and across from one loud gay bar open until 3 AM and one karaoke bar that goes on until 5AM! Both bars are open to street and the noise is ear splitting. After first night I asked to change room, the next day, they said ask the next day. Finally on 3rd day I changed, it was just as bad as first . WIFI is very weak and jumps off constantly. The "safe" is a joke, a wooden box anyone could open. The door lock is not a bar lock, just a push button knob, no chain, no security bar, anyone could open door with a knife or credit card. It is dirty, see photos and falling apart. It is almost impossible to get a towel. The staff takes ALL DAY to clean room, then you find out you have no towels, they say it will take two more hours. NO TOWELS. Worst is noise. TV does not work at all. Curtains will not close, falling apart. The photos shown are TOTALLY DECEPTIVE, The rooms do not even remotely resemble these photos, I suspect they were altered or taken 40 years ago.

Everything, awful place. DO NOT STAY HERE. Poorly run, disorganized, dirty, no security, dimly lit. NOISY beyond belief. I could not sleep for 4 nights.

It was a very convenient location to get around PVR - to the beach, to bus stop for day trips. Close to food marts, restaurants, and other tourist items.

I didn't know the noise level of the neighborhood. Earplugs were helpful, but the late night revelers sure had a good time. I like to do stretching when I wake up and before bed. I wish there had been a few small rugs to lay down on. Also the trash stacked on the street below my room... a bit disconcerting.

Location,noisy street at noche.door,windows for balcony is very old need replacement because of noise from outside.Small toalet,not comfortable materac.

Mexico is about people.. Stuff is great! Location is nice, really close to the beach and restaurants.

Zona Romantica is the most interesting part of the city, but be ready to listen a music from pubs up to 3-4-5 am, and noise from passing cars and moto, cuz windows and doors are old, so the is no any soundproofing.. The building itself is old too, needs a renovation.
