The Inn at Middleton Place

Picturesque and hospitable

Beautiful and quiet area. Rooms were smaller but very unique. Bathroom was clean and decent sized.

I loved having access to the gardens. I was able to walk along the paths and sit in beautiful surroundings and felt rejuvinated.

The property and room were wonderful. We toured Middleton Place next door and experienced Charleston from a very convenient location.

Beautiful, serene get away! This was so much more than I expected. The grounds are gorgeous; plan time to stroll a few hours a day. The exquisite architecture of the lodging is a wonderful change from hotels. The room is perfectly minimal. Don’t be discouraged by this, it was incredibly inviting and cozy. The wall of windows allowed you appreciate the view from your room. The complimentary breakfast at the Lake House was quite a spread! Dinner at Middleton Place was delicious! You will want to go more than once for the food and the view. It was not crowded which added to the peaceful feel of the stay.

Just had a wonderful stay here. I went once, 26 years ago, and remember it fondly. It was even more lovely than my memory. Magical, tranquil. Love the grounds and the rooms, as well as the access to Middleton Place. The staff is very friendly and helpful, as are the written instructions with the room. The restaurant is excellent and a beautiful place to dine. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Beautiful property with walking trails overlooking the Ashley River and Middleton Gardens. A lodge with full bar and charcuterie snacks plus an evening night cap. It's a secluded getaway tucked away from the world in a beautiful wooded setting. Highly recommend!
