L'Auberge du QG

The location was like being in France. The coffee shop below was awesome and the staff friendly - when we arrived we were not sure how to check in so asked them and were told the host was away so they rang her. Very easy checkin then. Lovely restaurant over the road. Got a park outside. Easy to catch transport into city from the other side of the river to save the hassle of driving and parking. Washer and drier a life saver after travelling.

I found the stairs hard - had an injury but not fault of accommodation,!

The owner was fantastic and had great communication with us during the stay. The loft was was very cute and furnished to make it feel homey. Also, the cafe downstairs was fantastic. Food was great, staff was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable.

The unit that was provided was very adequate. it was very clean and homely.

The staircase leading to the unit was not suitable for carrying (2x heavy luggages), also with a wobbly railing to hold onto. The place is far from the city centre that we still have to drive/park the car to the closest bus station.

It was clean and smelled good. Very original decoration.

Some people who were not guests used the kitchen and the wash room.and made a lot of noise. The ceiling is quite low (mot suitable for tall people) and the stairs are too narrow and slippery (not recommended for seniors or people with disabilities)

Short drive to downtown Montreal, close to highway, very quiet and convenient parking.

There was nothing I did not like.

It was such an amazing staying at this magic place, it was very nice and cozy at the lovely location. Thank you so much
