good water pressure.

bad lighting and the elevator was sooo slow. breakfast was bad.

EVERYTHING!! Comfy beds, Lots of space, Lots of outlets and usb ports to charge electronics.

Hotel was outdated. It also had a smell to it in the hallway and elevator.

This was the absolute worst hotel experience ever. We arrived to find a woman in her pajamas outside the lobby door, smoking marajuana . Upon entering the lobby there were several people waiting to check in but a sign in the front desk said “be right back”. 20 minutes later a young g guy came in the front door slurping a milkshake and carrying his dinner only to reappear behind the desk to check everyone in.no apology. While waiting we guest spent the time stomping on bugs crawling all over lobby. A group of poeople were gathered at the elevators that didn’t work. When asked where the stairs were he said “I don’t know and I don’t know where anything is”. We made our way to our room to find the most disgusting conditions . Food a s debris everywhere, horrendous odor that smelled like the room had just been fumed for bugs . My wife developed a cough and breathing problems so after 3 hours at 3:30am we collected our things and left . This place was unsafe , unmanaged and unkept . I demand a full refund, more importantly I demand an apology for jeopardizing our safety. With no working elevators how would we escape in an emergency. I am considering contacting Virginia’s office governing hotels and lodging for health and safety concerns as well as the state fire marshals office for the elevators not functioning in the event of of a emergency. We had to find a stairway that would allow us to exit the building and get out of there . After driving 14+ hours that day I needed rest to continue our journey but didn’t sleep at all due to this situation . So early in the dark we got back on the road at great risk. I will be sharing this on every platform I can.

Other best westerns appear to be run and managed like a real hotel . This one at Dumbarton was nothing shy of a slum house. Flickering lights, broken elevators which had constant warning buzzer signaling issues. Horrendous odors including what smelled like a bug foamer that was sprayed . Irving was clean, bugs everywhere..

Bed comfortable. Roomy.

Needs updating. Breakfast was terrible.
